Fermented Korean Hot Pepper Paste or Gochujang is an indispensable ingredient in the Korean kitchen. Used in cooking, and as condiment (often combined with other ingredients), thick, rich gochujang adds spiciness, sweetness and umami to dishes.
This gochujang chilli paste is especially famous because it is the same kind that the first Korean astronaut, Ko San, took with him into space.
Ideal for making Steamboat, BBQ sauces, meat dipping sauces or noodle and rice sauce!
